Out of the Shelters

Out of the mild comfort
out of the shelters,
going where there is hurt,
where there is need
out of the shelters, under the bridges
in the park, in the hidden darker places
the places where they have found refuge
bringing Christ’s love, through simple acts
of caring, of coffee, of grace
seeking those, who you may not know
serving them, where they are
as Jesus would do
