By Your Living Word

Years of rebellion
the corrosive sand of my sin
filling me completely
not letting You in

Slowly but surely
adding Your living water
the sand falling away
by Your living Word

The sand emptied from me
making me ready
becoming and empty vessel
to be filled by Your Spirit

Your living waters flawing
washing me with love
filling me completely
poured out of my willing vessel

Washing the world with grace
washing other baskets
washed by Your living Word
the witness of Your love
