you have left God’s grace
you have abandoned
Christ’s freedom
when you take on the yoke
of the law, of custom.
we must listen
to God’s Word only;
all else is a burden
a yoke we must not carry,
stuff of the world.
Christ bought our freedom
with His blood on the cross;
we must not pick up
the weight He took on,
His sacrifice on the cross.
