he took pity on him – 2 – v2

The measure of his righteousness
is the love of this stranger
he took pity on him
helping this other, this neighbor
when he was hurt, broken
when he was in need, in pain

He stopped, he acted in love
in this divine appointment
he had compassion for him
this stranger, this neighbor
the man who was hurting
who needed the love of God
