We are not promised tomorrow
not even our next breath;
we each have but this moment
this second alive.
How would I be different,
or any one of us,
if we thought of this breath
as our last
in this mortal life?
How would we live,
intentionally,
our lives on fire, on
purpose,
because we each have but this
moment
this second alive.
