an ancient story
weakness, the flesh
our stumbling block
the wise foolish
Solomon’s bad choices
not heeding the warning
the eternal wisdom of God
the wise foolish
listening to the voices
to the flesh, to passions,
to the things of this earth
the wise foolish
learning the hard way
failing to be obedient
to the living Word of God
