Angels in the planking
in the boards beneath us
frozen in the deck
this space in the garden.
 
Angels in the planking
sharing this place, resting,
bound to this earth
to this moment, this season.
 
Angels in the planking
to be found, noticed,
an image of the other
spirits here with us.
