Existing, not Living – v3

Pushing the same rock
up the same mountain,
Existing, not living,
merely going through the motions
struggling, walking, settling,
on our journey, the path of our life.
 
Feeling empty, drained,
wicked of emotion,
Existing, not living,
no passion, no calling, no purpose,
working, merely to survive,
stuck on the path, yet feeling adrift.
 
Drawn, spent, poured out,
needing catharsis,
Existing, not living,
but we have a choice, a turning;
We have a calling, a plan,
a purpose from God.
