No matter what you claim
your interest in me
my hopes, my dreams,
the words I write,
 
You are not my friend
if you steal from my employer
the one who pays me,
who measures my work.
 
Every theft a red mark
a blight on my record
on the judgment that others
will write, will mete out.
 
You are not my friend
no matter how you sugar coat it;
I will cast you out the circle
into the outer darkness the abyss,.
