Damocles,
a curse, a warning,
explicit,
one strike and you
are out,
no matter the circumstances,
the precedent,
the capriciousness,
the callousness
of the edicts
defining the
terms, the consequences,
of even a moment
of failure;
No recourse, no,
get out.
