We must maintain our humanity

We must not lose ourselves
in the face of their abject evil
We must maintain our humanity
in the hell of genocide…
 
We must not succumb
to the cancer of this moment
We must stand resolute with
these good and brave people…
 
We must rail against the enemy
but we must stand on principle
We must never forget our values
what we hold most dear…
 
We must stand with Ukraine
in their battle for survival
We must rail against Russia, but,
We must maintain our humanity
