People of iron, of mettle,

united in one cause, one purpose,

setting aside their own dreams

for their dream as a people,

the sovereignty of their nation...

Humbly remembering the fallen,

the awful cost of this war...

Every life is important

the unity of this nation-state,

honoring every memory

the price they have paid

for sovereignty, for freedom,

their natural right to exist...

People of iron, of mettle,

resolve against the tyrant,

their neighbor, once their cruel master,

bent on conquest, control...

Ukraine will be free, forever,

They are their own guarantee...
