our way would be straighter
our path would be easier
if we would just listen
if we walked each day
in the way God commands,
if we follow the cross...
if we would just listen
to the Word God left us
if we would change
if we would follow
the way of Jesus,
the way of the cross...
if we would just listen
to the Spirit speaking to us
if we would cleave to every word
breathed by our loving God...
Our way would be easier
if we trusted in God
if we trusted in Him alone...
