We
are all George Bailey, struggling, striving,
We
can sometimes climb the bridge of despair
questioning
ourselves, everything;
We
lose sight of our calling, our blessings,
the
truth of our own wonderful life.
We
look at our feet, at our struggles,
we
don’t see our blessings, gifts God gives us;
We
fear the unknown, the future,
We
remain stuck in our ruts, our paths.
We
are all George Bailey, forgetting our worth,
our
purpose, our calling, our significance in the world;
We
are each chased by, we listen to, our demons;
We
are caught in a moment of weakness,
when
we question our purpose, our value.
We
need to look up, to look around us, thankful,
Seeing
our lives as knitted with others;
We
carry petals in our pockets from our journeys;
We
would leave a hole in the world.
