We Seek Him with every breath

We are here but a minute,
Our lives are fleeting, quick,
Our whole life is but a breath,
a whisper in the sands of time.
 
We seek Him with every breath,
Every moment of our lives,
We were born only yesterday,
an empty vessel to be filled…
 
We are but a shadow, a breath.
God knows the number of our days,
We must walk in our purpose,
we are to follow the path of God.
 
We are here but for a moment,
Our whole life is but a breath,

We are here but a minute,
for our life is but a breath,
a whisper over the sands of time.
 
We were born only yesterday,
an empty vessel to be filled…
 
Our days on earth are numbered,
born as infants, an empty book,
we are but a shadow, a breath.
 
We must walk in our purpose,
we are to follow the path of God.
