Why, Because
Why do I write
when no one reads my writing;
Why do I pour out my heart
Lord what am I missing?
I write because
I feel a calling;
A voice within me
gifts me these words.
Why do I hear these words
compelling me to write them;
Why do I write
when no one seems to listen?
I write because
I want to share my Savior;
The Spirit of God
gives me voice.
I write because
writing fills me;
Sharing God’s love
brings me joy.
Why do I write
It’s really quite simple;
I want to share
my inner joy.
