The coming of the Spirit
the flames of Pentecost
the breath of life from God
foretold by the living Messiah
the risen Lord after his rising
clothed with power from above
a new person, a new mantle
the Spirit like a robe, protecting
like a new skin on the disciples
transforming, emboldening
soon to come, wait
until you have been made ready.
