The Measure We Give

not with money the measure we give
that which we receive from the Lord
so much more than this
in our faithfulness, in our trust in God
a bounty, a harvest
life forevermore
in believing in his provision
like the psalm of old
our cups running over,
just as we were told
His promise being fulfilled
listen to his voice within
give of ourselves, our lives
offering the Christ
to our neighbors in need
Hold nothing back,
hoard nothing in our barns
offer our lives to the Lord
reaping a priceless reward
