The expensive perfume
the rich, sweet nard
filling all the house
the air thick with the coming
the days slipping away
Christ facing death
Giving extravagantly
the woman and our savior
each offering their best
in service to our master
God watching
forgiving us of our sin
in the sacrifice of the humble lamb
our Lord going to the cross for us
