The dim light of our reason

God wrapping us
wrapping us in love
lifting us up
from the earth, the world

Ablaze in glory
in the light of heaven
not the dim light
of our human reason

Guiding us into the world
hearing his message
spreading his love
light into the darkness

Hope for the captives
that the prisoners would be free
light shining though us
to save the whole world
