Torn by our history
the weight of our choices
our stresses, struggles
the path of our days

Broken people, sinners
for us Christ came to earth
healing us by his presence
his teaching of God’s truth

He came for the likes of us
not the ones set apart
to walk in the dust with us
to lead us through this earth
