Reconciled by Death

Estranged from God
the stain of my sin
true since the fall of man
sin entered the world
in our rebellion from God
desires of our hearts, our flesh

Reconciled by death
by the sacrifice of Christ
our stain washed away
healed of brokenness
by the grace of the cross
by his obedience to God
