Christ alive,
Here in the world,
Come down, in love
Here to give light to the world
To proclaim to the truth of God
Showing us the Master
By the things he would do
Claiming none of his making
Only a vessel poured
Giving the credit
With the one who sent him to earth
Giving God the glory
For everything that he did
