justification, before God
not of our works
not a reward, a payment
wages for our job
not wages but a gift
a gift of God’s grace
poured out on us
a blessing, a hope
a resurrection, new life
healing our brokenness
a gift, beyond measure
not wages for our works
but a gift from Almighty God
