our faith, one foundation
one stone before the others
at the center, Jesus,
the stone cut
from the mountain, love,
the stone rejected
that the builders denied
offered to us
by Almighty God
the faith, the Way,
rooted and grounded
in the living water
of the body of Christ
His blood He offered
no building, structure,
a spiritual temple
human spirits united
within that One
the faith, our future,
our brothers and sisters
journeying forward
climbing on the growing
church
reaching, striving
young children standing
upon the foundation
those who have gone before
but at the center, Jesus.
