not captives to shopping

of Madison Avenue

sentient beings

created by God

We can choose

to ignore the chaos

we can choose

to focus on Christ

Advent is a time

to remember

whose we are

all children of God

All of us commissioned

to serve our Lord and Savior

All of us charged

to shine His light.
