when the Spirit descended
for she was there at Pentecost
still grieving Jesus
but believing her eyes
that He was risen, in heaven,
as she saw Him,
her son, our Savior
who had sent, commissioned,
what did Mary say
after the Pentecost
after the Spirit descended
and gave her power
she, of all people, had faith
the same Magnificat
the Song of Mary
her song for life
