obedient to the point of death – v2

The truth of His coming

what it means to love;

To love as Christ loved

descending from above

Obedient unto God

all that He was holy;

Obedient to the point of death

even to the cross, to death

Life as we knew it

should be different because of this,

The blessing of the Savior in

His sacrifice of love

Healing us by His death

by His resurrection life;

Sent to serve in his world

to bear joyfully His light
