defeat the lies of the Devil – v2

defeat the lies of this world

speak life into the darkness

don’t remain silent

when you should speak;

defeat the lies of this world

share the love of Jesus

the sacrifice that heals us

that gives us new life.

defeat the lies of the Devil

sap them of their power

speak words of life

to counterbalance, to fight

to defeat Satan, the Enemy

speak love, light

into each situation.

defeat the lies of the Enemy

as Christ did, with scripture;

do not let yourself be discouraged

turn back to your God;

defeat the lies of the Enemy

the gossip, the slander;

speak truth to the world’s power

the injustice around you.

we must stand firm in the gate

we must defeat the lies of Satan;

God is counting on us

to be Christ’s hands and feet;

we cannot grow tired

we must stand in the gap with Him;

God has called us to this

to light others’ way.
