the way has been made

Christ opened the door

the way has been made

back to the Father

to restored relationship

with our God

Adam cut the cord

defying God’s command

the connection severed

by the first we were lost

mired in our sin

Christ restored the cord

renewing the connection

bringing us from the outside

into the body, the vine,

back into the family of God
