The disciples empty
after the resurrection
filled with new hope;
but falling to old tasks
back into their old ways
Experienced fishermen
out on familiar waters
Galilee, far from
Jerusalem,
the same method
and the same result
An empty hold, no cargo
nets cast returning no
fish
One more lesson
Christ on the shoreline
shared by the Teacher -
Cast your net on the
other side
and reap the reward
Follow the Master
do what He tells you
go where He leads you
out on the waters,
out into the world
Go to share with them
the lost, the broken,
His holy message;
we are to fish
from other shores
