Sometimes it is in the detour

Sometimes it is in the detour

We may have a plan

a purpose we cleave to;

we may think we can

go as we want to.

Sometimes we hit roadblocks

we run into detours;

but sometimes it is in the detour

we find our purpose in life.

We can find our purpose,

our meaning in life;

sometimes it is in the detour

that our way makes sense.
