We must Celebrate our Diversity - v2
In our diversity we find strength
all of us with a part, a role, to play
to complete the body of Christ;
though we are different, it is a blessing,
a celebration of diversity, our unity
we are so much stronger together
within the sacred plans of God.
We must celebrate our diversity
our differences, our uniqueness
our sexes, our races, our traditions;
we must celebrate the calling, the talents,
the gifts each of us have been given
our uniqueness, our purpose, imparted,
before the beginning of time.
Each one of us have a part to play
like the hands, the feet, the tissues,
We are one in the body of Christ;
all of us have meaning, purpose,
a sacred calling, a talent, a gift,
something special to share, to offer,
in God’s endless story of love.
