The path of resistance – v2

The path of resistance,
the way God has written,
what God has chosen for us,
following His Law, the Way,
of Christ, of God’s righteous.

Not conforming our steps,
our focus on the ground before us,
not taking the path of least resistance,
but walking with God, the Creator,
our King, the Way Maker.

We are sentient – v2

We are sentient,
feeling beings, human;
We can sense the consequences
of our decisions, of our choices.

We are given free will,
by God the Creator;
We can choose to follow Christ
or the ways of the earth.

We are sentient,
mortal creatures, humans;
Every decision is a choice
with real world implications…

We must #Celebrate our #Diversity - v2

We must Celebrate our Diversity - v2

In our diversity we find strength

all of us with a part, a role, to play

to complete the body of Christ;

though we are different, it is a blessing,

a celebration of diversity, our unity

we are so much stronger together

within the sacred plans of God.

We must celebrate our diversity

our differences, our uniqueness

our sexes, our races, our traditions;

we must celebrate the calling, the talents,

the gifts each of us have been given

our uniqueness, our purpose, imparted,

before the beginning of time.

Each one of us have a part to play

like the hands, the feet, the tissues,

We are one in the body of Christ;

all of us have meaning, purpose,

a sacred calling, a talent, a gift,

something special to share, to offer,

in God’s endless story of love.

As we walk in His image

As we walk in His image

As we walk in His image

seeing beauty, diversity,

as we share in one community

one community in Christ’s

we shine brightly like the sun;

we offer compassion, hope,

we enter into communion

with God in pure love.

More alive - v2

More alive - v2

we breathe more deeply

we are washed in love;

we are more alive, living,

within the arms of God

we are more alive for the work

within the body of Christ;

we shine in the darkness

filled with grace, with love

we drink of the cup

the well of living water;

we go as redeemer children

brothers and sisters with Christ

we are more alive for the work

our diversity makes us stronger;

we become Christ’s hands and feet

filled with grace, with love
