She was the first witness

She was the first witness

to see the resurrected Jesus;

She shared the Good News

with Christ’s other disciples.

He spoke her name, Mary,

so she would see Him;

God speaks our names

so we too will believe.

God calls to us

as Christ did to Mary;

God wants us to know Him

He wants us to proclaim our faith.
