The bumpy places,
the hard edges,
the grumpy, the
stubborn,
digging in for
another round
lobbing epithets
over the fences.
Agree to disagree
to step away from
the conflict
to offer grace,
mercy,
to show kindness,
compassion.
Choose peace,
love
the kindness of
Jesus
leave the chaos
on the side of
the road.
