If we could truly see
if we would only listen
what is #nature trying to tell us
in color, in texture, in light,
in the movement of the cosmos
in the pulse of the atom
the rocks on the trail before us
all that is truly alive?
Are there lessons we would heed
can we step out of our own context
what is nature trying to tell us
in the movement of the planets
wind chipping rock, water flowing,
tidal forces, gravity, the waking of lilies
the swaying of oak branches, high in the trees,
all in nature's time scale, hidden to you and me?
