Wash us in the blood of Christ,
Put a hedge of protection around us;
Cleanse us of our brokenness,
Make us clean, righteous, holy.
Let us feel Your presence,
Your Spirit as close as breath;
Heal me in the water,
The power of Your Love
Redeem our broken lives,
Drench us in the waters;
Resurrect our earthly bodies;
Bring us home to You.

An urgent fervent prayer

my mind as I drove home from work
after 11pm on June 20, but
it wasn’t written down
until the afternoon of
June 21, something I never do.

the moment but this one had an urgency to it;
It wanted to be born.
