Living a life undisciplined - v2

Living a life undisciplined,
inner dialogue shattered,
no self-control, no off switch,
fear in the mix, unraveled,
too many tabs open, impulsive,
victim of abuse, of bullying,
screaming, pushing back,
passive aggressive, lashing out...
 
Wanting control in the chaos,
the noise, order where there's none,
afraid to battle the demons,
to stand on faith, defiant, certain,
focused, not scattered, planning,
with our time, our talents, our treasure,
mapping a way through the valleys,
to God, to the mountaintops...
