I have come into the world as light – v2

I have come into the world as light,
one light to pierce the darkness,
to illuminate the way, the path,
that leads to the heart of God.
 
I have come into the world as light,
for darkness surely reigns on earth.
The world is filled with darkness,
so far from the will of God.
