Rid yourself of evil – v2

Rid yourself of evil,
every thought, every action,
Turn away from the flesh,
its desires, its earthly passions…
 
Set your sights on God,
on life in our risen Lord Jesus,
Conform your steps to your calling,
to the eternal ways of heaven…
 
Rid yourself from evil,
turn from it completely,
Set your sights on Christ,
the perfecter of our faith…
 
Set yourself on God,
free yourself from bondage,
Walk into your calling, your purpose,
follow where the Spirit leads…
