Within our own skin

Centered, balanced,
Focused on the present,
The here and now,
Breathing, seeing,
Stilling ourselves
From the chaos,
All other voices…
 
Living in this moment,
Within our own skin,
Our bodies, our living flesh,
Listening to the rhythms,
To our own heartbeats,
Sounds of our own breathing,
Focusing on nothing else...
 
Not seeking grandeur,
Outsized calling or purpose,
Focusing on the small,
Our own center, our living,
Grounded in our moment,
Living in this present,
For the sake of ourselves…
