Hear my cry for mercy – v2

Lord, I am broken, hurting,
my enemies surround me,
I see Your hand moving,
I long to feel Your presence,
to sense You by my side,
to know You are with me today…
 
Hear my cry for mercy
as I call to you for help,
God, I turn to You for protection,
for Your hand to be upon me
in my darkness, my struggle,
in the courses of the night…
 
Do not drag me down,
to Sheol, to the pit,
raise me with the righteous,
guide my trembling feet
I will praise You, oh God,
save me, my Maker, my Lord….
