stand firm, be careful that you do not fall – v2

Listen to this warning from holy scripture,
Stand firm, be careful that you do not fall,
That you do not stumble in your walk,
Reject the flesh, temptation, the lies
Placed before us, stand firm, be careful,
In every moment, in every step, each breath,
In every choice we make while we walk this earth…
 
Heed the warning, the consequence of evil,
Stand firm, in the battle, in the war with the enemy,
For He seeks to destroy, to separate you from God, from Christ,
To drag you down, into the pit, to turn you from heaven,
To the flesh, in the testing, in the refining fire,
In the burning away of all our past, our sin, the war,
Raging, alive, as we walk on our path, on this earth…
