The constant monologue,
My history, my trauma, the stones
That I carry, the weight, the chains
The doubts overwhelming, the lies
Of my inner voice, my past,
Weights, anchors, delaying, denying
My dreams, my aspirations, joy right now,
Today, not tomorrow, scarcity, doubts
Standing in my way…
