our calling, our purpose,
our ministry, our witness,
living out our lives
in lower-case letter…
 
not something big or dramatic
no Divine appointment,
open to God’s presence,
His calling in the world …
 
sharing our witness,
our belief, our faith,
offering comfort,
to those hurting, in pain…
 
not something big or dramatic,
but authentic, compassion,
loving our neighbors,
as God loves all of us…
 
sharing our witness,
these too are Divine appointments,
opportunities to minister,
in our daily lives…
 
nothing big or dramatic,
but that may be an understatement,
our journey, our witness,
may be the balm for another,
their spirit, their soul…
