The sentience of Christ – v2

a tear in the fabric of time
the incarnation, the birth of Christ,
the Babe laid in the manger,
such a mystery, such a gift,
wrapped in swaddling clothing,
the sentience of Christ,
God here with us…
 
fully-child, yet fully-God,
with the Father at creation,
life sprang forth from within Him,
the Babe in the Manger,
the Man who would climb the Cross,
God who ascended to heaven,
now seated on his throne…
 
a tear in the fabric of time,
the Godhead here dwelling,
the curtain was torn wide open
the infinite entering creation,
God in mortal flesh was born,
laid in His manger bed…
 
the bread of life was born,
Christ, long-promised,
placed in a manger,
the eternal God of heaven,
the Son, our Messiah,
our risen Lord and Savior…
 
a tear in the fabric of time,
the Messiah, the Trinity,
pierced the veil, descended,
a mystery of our faith,
life was born to Mary,
God dwelt in flesh with us…
