At the rise of the Third Watch - v2

At the rise of the Third Watch,
when my soul falls into prayer,
spiritual warfare, battles,
when I seek You, I search for You,
my Creator, oh sovereign God…
 
At the rise of the Third Watch,
rising at midnight, in darkness,
the courses of the night,
though evil may bind me,
I will seek Your light…
 
At the rise of the Third Watch,
coming to You reverent, in power,
Your Law, Your Love, oh God,
will be on my tongue, my heart,
they will be my solemn prayer…

The Psalm speak of midnight, which is the start of the "12 to 3 AM prayer watch," or the "Third Watch," is a time of prayer and spiritual focus, often associated with spiritual warfare and seeking divine intervention.  It is a time of heightened spiritual activity, where believers are encouraged to pray against darkness and evil forces.
