constant companions – v2

constant companions
burdens, my demons,
sin and death present
my guilt and my shame…
 
I am broken, in chaos,
I give in to my flesh,
burdens I carry daily,
my guilt and my shame…
 
constant companions,
God, living Holy Spirit,
rise within me, protect me,
defeat my guilt, my shame…
 
I am broken, I struggle,
But You meet me here,
cleanse me, heal me,
of my guilt and my shame…
