Not fearing repercussions,
knowing the Tsar was watching,
sharing his truth with courage…
A voice against injustice
for freedom, autonomy,
for his people, for Ukraine…

His quest for freedom, for justice,
for himself, for his people,
breaking the bonds of serfdom…
A message for the ages, for all people,
a cry for freedom for the captives,
But first and foremost, Ukraine…
 
A voice against injustice, for freedom,
For a release from ancient chains,
a singular voice in images, language,
calling us down through the ages
steeling the resolve of his people,
his Beloved, his Ukraina…
